“Chemistry” is in everything that surrounds us. Whether corona vaccines, concrete, quantum computers, fertilizers or solar cells – without a comprehensive knowledge of how these substances and materials are produced and what happens in or with them when they are used, we would be lost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because chemistry is so multifaceted, you can choose between several degree programs at the Department of Chemistry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Chemistry is responsible for three degree programs and offers another degree program in close cooperation with Faculty 10: Biology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can’t wait to finish your high school diploma and finally go to university? Do your academic achievements suggest that you still have room for additional adventures and challenges? Then you can listen to lectures and take examinations with us before your high school diploma, which will later be recognized in your program of study. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
